The KB Go League, Korea’s largest tournament with a total prize pool of KRW 4 billion, concludes its regular season and begins the postseason on May 25.
At the media day, the coaches and players of the six teams in attendance picked Hankook Mulga Information, Jeonggwan Jangcheonnok, and Suryuhan Hapcheon as the favorites to win the title.
As the top two teams in both leagues, HFI and Jungkwan Jangtennok are headed directly to the playoffs, while Suiryeo Hapcheon, Ulsan GoRoYeon, and Celltrion and Kicks will play a best-of-five semi-playoff series.
