Left-hander Cabrera joins Toronto squad…Pearson Relegation

The Toronto Blue Jays have joined left-hander Hennesis Cabrera in a trade.

The Blue Jays announced on the 24th 메이저놀이터 (Korea Standard Time) that they will join Cabrera on the 26-man list ahead of an away game against the Seattle Mariners.

Cabrera pitched 174 games in five seasons in the major leagues, recording 13-11 losses, 51 holds, 3 saves, and a 4.14 ERA.

He played 32 innings in 32 games this season with a 5.06 ERA and 1.7 home runs, 5.1 walks, and 10.7 strikeouts per 1.5639 WHIP innings.

He has not taken the mound since scoring two runs in 11/3 innings at home against the Washington Nationals on the 16th.

With Cabrera’s joining, Toronto secured another left-hander bullpen option after Tim Meiza. It will be able to expand its options in operating the bullpen according to matchups.

Right-hander Nate Pearson went down to Triple-A to make his place on the 26-man roster.

Pearson was 5-2 with a 4.75 ERA in 36 innings in 29 games this season. On the 23rd, he took the mound in the seventh inning against Seattle on the 23rd, and was sluggish with three hits and four runs in 1/3 innings, and recorded a blon loss.

Arden Zwelling, a Blue Jays reporter for Canadian sports media “SportsNet,” predicted that Pearson would go through adjustments in Triple-A, especially regarding the use of breaking balls.
