The starting lineup for the upcoming All-Star Game has been revealed.
The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO)꽁머니 announced the starting lineup for the 2023 KBO League All-Star Game, which will be held at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan, South Korea, at 6 p.m. on May 15.
The All-Star Game will pit the Dream All-Stars (Lotte Giants, Doosan Bears, KT Wiz, Samsung Lions, SSG Rangers) against the Sharing All-Stars (Kiwoom Heroes, LG Twins, KIA Tigers, NC Dinos, Hanwha Eagles).
Before the game, both teams revealed their starting rosters. The Dream All-Stars lined up with Koo Ja-rook (right fielder), Jose Pirela (left fielder), Yang Ji (catcher), Park Byung-ho (first baseman), Jeon Jun-woo (designated hitter), Ahn Chi-hong (second baseman), Noh Jin-hyuk (shortstop), Han Dong-hee (third baseman), and Kim Min-seok (center fielder). The starting pitcher is Park Se-woong.
The Nanum All-Stars will be led by pitcher Yang Hyun-jong, with Kim Hye-sung (second base), Lee Jung-hoo (center field), Chae Eun-sung (first base), Choi Hyung-woo (designated hitter), Socrates Brito (left field), Noh Si-hwan (third base), Park Gun-woo (right field), Park Dong-won (catcher), and Kim Ju-won (shortstop).
Meanwhile, this year’s All-Star Game is also attracting a lot of attention as it will be held in Busan for the first time in 16 years. The last time the All-Star Game was held in Busan was in 2007, and Busan fans are currently filling 22,900 seats at Sajik Baseball Stadium.
